Description
This is the Dunbrody Famine Ship, situated in dock at New Ross county Wexford, Ireland. It was ships similar to this that many Irishmen and women had to leave home and attempt to find a better life in America, thankfully, many did, but sadly many never got to see the land of hope and glory either.
It was also from here in New Ross that a one Patrick Kennedy left Ireland for Boston in 1849,...the rest as they say ..is History.
